I am pleased to announce that on odierna, giovedì 23 settembre 2010, è stato firmato, dal Capo del Governo della Città Autonoma di Buenos Aires Mauricio Macri e dal sottoscritto, l'Accordo di Cooperazione tra il Governo della Città Autonoma di Buenos Aires e il Consolato Generale d'Italia per il triennio 2011-2013 per l’insegnamento curricolare della lingua italiana nelle istituzioni scolastiche di questa capitale.
Tale Accordo, prevede la prosecuzione dell'insegnamento della lingua italiana come materia curricolare (avviato con la firma del primo Accordo in materia del 1997) in 62 scuole pubbliche di Buenos Aires con oltre 7.500 alunni con la possibilità di allargarne l'ambito di applicazione nel corso dei prossimi anni scolastici.
