Dickies Carhartt Difference

The Loden Coat is a coat of Tyrolean origin, packed in a heavy fabric carded wool, woven and pressed with a traditional treatment that gives hair combed in a straight and a highly water-repellent ability. It has a traditional dial-sleeved open the armpits, neck without a collar, slash pockets and a long PiƩgon at center back. However, there are more than 405 different models. It was worn by the Austrian Emperor Franz Joseph as the Duke of Windsor. It 's a very practical and elegant head, still used by thousands of men, women and children.

The term Loden
seems to derive from an ancient Germanic word meaning "hair". The pattern offered here also includes the optional long hood and a cape at the elbow.
